: We had a lovely day with Francesca and Armando in their home in Catania. We learned a lot and had a lovely meal. They were so kind and picked me up and returned me to Aci Castello. Very kind indeed.
: My friend Carolynn and I had a wonderful, memorable meal experience with Francesca S. this afternoon, our last full day in Catania. Her cooking was better than any meal we have had so far in Italy. We learned how to make pasta with a delicious meat sauce, breaded chicken fillets, a focaccia bread with mozzarella, zucchini and basil, bruschetta with tomato, eggplant, and garlic, thin tuna fillets in a light but rich tomato sauce, and tiramisu. Add to all of that a soft, smooth red wine and you have a little bit of heaven. Her food magic was tailored to our choices.. The entire meal was delicious, and we will tell stories about it when we return home., Just as important, those stories will include how Francesca and her husband welcomed us as if we were family. Her passion for cooking and teaching and her husband’s passion for painting and photography made the afternoon one we will not forget. Thank you again Francesca for everything—your talent, warmth, and generosity. Ciao!
: The most wonderful experience in Catania! Where do I begin? Francesca S. met us personally and brought us up to her lovely home. She immediately made me and my friend Katy comfortable with a tour of her beautiful home with stunning views from her balcony. We entered her kitchen and she began her cooking demonstration. WOW! We tasted everything as she prepared a delicious four course meal, that was individually tailored for our class . She used only fresh, tasty ingredients. We shared wine and many laughs. We then moved into her amazing dining room filled with her husband's art work. We ate on beautiful hand painted dinnerware with matching pieces. He took amazing pictures as we enjoyed our meal. The conversation was warm and endearing. They both made us feel like family. We shared family photos and loverly stories. This was the best meal than any of the restaurants we had experienced! Together with great food was their warmth which made this a truly memorable last day in Sicily!!!!! Thank you Francesca from my heart!!!!!🥰
: My Family and I had an amazing time with Francesca and her husband Armando. My 5 year old son says it was his favorite experience in Italy and calls Francesca la nonna italiana (the Italian grandma). I booked this experience so that the kids would have something to do with their hands, something to remember and also for me to learn to cook Italian food for them when we came back home. We made so many different things and learned so much. I think it was an amazing experience and would recommend it 1000%.
: Amazing experience. Francesca and her husband were so welcoming and warm. She really knew her stuff in the kitchen and every bite of food was like a piece of heaven. I recommend this experience to anyone and everyone
