Ciao, sono Carlo e ti do il benvenuto a casa mia per imparare insieme a realizzare due tipi di pasta fresca e un classico dessert italiano!

Prepareremo ravioli ripieni di gustosa ricotta fresca e poi spaghetti alla chitarra o fettuccine. Come dessert, prepareremo un ottimo tiramisù come vuole la tradizione, con savoiardi, caffè e cacao. La lezione è una splendida occasione per discutere del cibo, di ingredienti speciali come i cereali antichi e del nostro stile di vita!

Wow! We had the most amazing experience with Carlo. From two very inexperienced chefs, he was so patient with us and made sure we understood every step of the process. He answered all of our questions, and is so kind and genuine. He is so welcoming and made us feel right at home! We left and immediately began sourcing the materials to bring our newfound knowledge back home to share and cook for our friends!

We had a lovely afternoon with Carlo learning how to make pasta and tiramisu. He was warm and inviting to his home and it was just what we needed as we’d been doing a lot of sightseeing! We learned how to cook two types of pasta and tiramisu during the class. Carlo was very patient answering all those questions out of our curiosity. It was an interesting and unforgettable experience, especially for us since we had no experience making pasta ourselves. Making authentic handmade pasta may take more efforts than you thought :P Also had great casual talk with Carlo from cuisines to local lifestyle. Have to say the food we made together tasted very well. My wife and I would strongly recommend everyone to join Carlo's class during your Florence stay!

"Amo la buona cucina e cucino da una vita! Da anni mi dedico anche alla ricerca di una cucina non solo buona, ma anche attenta alla salute: dolci a basso contenuto di colesterolo e zucchero, pasta fatta in casa con farine macinate a pietra da piccoli mulini. In molti casi infatti è possibile cucinare buoni piatti a chilometro zero senza dimenticare la salute. Questa però non deve essere una scusa per creare dei piatti mediocri: se non sono buoni è inutile che siano sani!"
