Il menù che propongo vede a tavola delle pietanze tipiche e antiche.
La storia dell'antipasto narra di un argentiere palermitano caduto in disgrazia che, non potendosi permettere cibi costosi, adattò le sue ricette alle sue tasche e fece del caciocavallo un piatto dal profumo sublime. A seguire la pasta c'anciova: si tratta di un piatto povero, ma gustosissimo. Il dolce, infine, nella sua semplicità ci porta indietro nel tempo quando le nonne, disponendo di poche risorse, esaltavano gli ingredienti di base trasformandoli in leccornie per grandi e bambini. La mia casa accoglie gli ospiti con sorrisi e con calore, perché da buona siciliana amo celebrare la sacralità dell'accoglienza. La mia cucina non è grande, ma grande è l'amore profuso per creare un'atmosfera conviviale.

- Giacoma ha aperto le porte di casa sua a me, mio padre e mia madre nel giorno di Natale. Lei e suo marito ci hanno fatto sentire da subito come se fossimo amici da tempo. Abbiamo immediatamente respirato aria di festa appena varcata la porta di casa, con una meravigliosa tavola addobbata per l'occasione. Abbiamo assaporato i sapori autentici di Palermo scegliendo il menù tradizionale che consiglio. Giacoma è un'ottima cuoca e padrona di casa. Spero di rivederci presto!!
