"Sono nata in Romagna, ma ormai dopo più di 35 anni a Pistoia la mia casa è la Toscana. Nel verde, ma a pochi chilometri dalla stazione e dalla piazza del Duomo. Vivo in una casa colonica all'interno di uno dei vivai più antichi della mia città, conosciuta per questa tipicità unica, ma anche per il piccolo centro storico a misura d'uomo con una ricchezza di edifici storici pari alle vicine Firenze o Lucca. Ho un animo creativo e curioso e nella cucina, attraverso i piatti della tradizione romagnola e toscana, esprimo al meglio il mio spirito di accoglienza: non a caso da me si entra, come nell'antica tradizione contadina, dalla porta della cucina. Adoro fare la pasta fatta in casa, impastare e cuocere pani, cercare, cucinare e tramandare i dolci classici della tradizione."

The cooking class with Luisa has been so much fun. She welcomed us into her home and made us feel like home as well. We made several shapes of egg pasta with the machine as well as by hand and then had a lovely meal with her sauce and the freshly made pasta. She then made us an espresso which we really enjoyed. Luisa's enthousiasm and warmth made the lesson so much fun, thank you so much Luisa! Would really recommend this class if you are in the neighbourhood of Pistoia (we drove 30 min from Lucca).

We had the best experience with Luisa! She was so friendly and welcoming. We started with the tiramisu and then made 2 different types of pasta and 3 different shapes of filled pasta. Luisa also turned the pasta into a delicious meal, and we ate everything we made together. Luisa was also very knowledgeable and explained the history of certain pasta and the local area! I can’t recommend this experience enough, we had the best time!

We had a very fun afternoon, making pasta with Luisa. She showed us how to make traditional egg pasta with her family's recipe. She shared her knowledge and experience by telling us how to make bigger quantities and the insight about the diffrent pasta making techniques. Afterwards we ate the self-made pasta while enjoying a good glass of local wine. Besides the talk about pasta, Luisa also told us about family tradition, history, Pistoia and more. We would recommend booking a cooking class by Luisa!
