Mauro was an amazing host and I am very glad we booked this cooking class. He generously welcomed us into his home and taught us how to make 2 different types of pasta, both of which turned out delicious. My friend and I had so much fun and cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

My friends and I had the best time cooking with Mauro! He shared lots of Venetian culture and history with us, had great conversation, and the food we made was so delicious. We made tagliatelle and ravioli, and were also served an aperitivo and dessert. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond for us. We would recommend this Mauro's cooking experience to anyone and would happily go back. It was our favourite part of our Venice trip. Thank you, Mauro!

Mauro is an excellent chef and he enjoys talking about the food, the ingredients, the herbs and seasonings, and the why's for using them in the way that he does. He also was happy to share about his city, Venice, and why he loves it there, his history with living there, and the issues the city faces. He was very friendly and made us feel very much at home. His home is charming and the setting for dinner was lovely and cozy. He worked with our food intolerances and dislikes and provided a fabulous menu! The drinks, dinner, and dessert were outstanding!
