Mauro gave us an exemplary cooking class, covering how to make homemade pasta, ravioli and different sauces, complementing the perfect meal with homemade tiramisu and a glass of Prosseco and Spritz. Perfect evening to close out Italian trip. The instructions were easy to remember and Mauro applies the "learn by doing" method, perfect for me and mu husband. He gave us extra cooking tips that can help us recreate this and similar dishes back home. It was an amazing couples experience and I 100% recommend it. Thanks Mauro for everything! Regina

We had a fantastic experience with Mauro. We learned so much about Venice, the cuisine, ingredients, and of course the menu and recipes! Everything was perfect, and it was amazing to be able to cook and eat in Mauro's house in Venice. The menu was delicious and we look forward to recreating it at home now that we have this experience. Would definitely recommend this experience as something completely different from the usual tourist activities and as a way of learning and living Venetian life. Thanks.

The whole experience was fabulous. Mauro was charming, interesting and a consummate host - even waiting outside his apartment building (an old palazzo) for me to arrive. He is an incredible cook and he had sourced beautiful fresh produce - vegetables, herbs and seafood, for the meal. He produced six courses, each one superb, from cichetti to dessert, and provided lots of useful instruction about cooking techniques and particular Venetian eating traditions. The accompanying drinks were perfect. I was so glad I booked this experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. Well worth the cost and a very special experience. Thank you so much Mauro!

We had a delightful time with Mauro learning how to make tiramisu, homemade potato gnocchi and fried lagoon fish! Mauro was very personable and hospitable, and it was a pleasure to learn these classic recipes that he broke down into simple steps. We’re so glad to have had the opportunity to see firsthand how to make these delicious recipes!! Grazie per tutto!!
