I will welcome you with an appetizer of bruschette made with local typical products. Next, you will have the opportunity to savor the authentic flavors of the city’s culinary tradition, starting with a special first course loved by everyone: tagliatelle with ragù, the iconic dish of Emilian cuisine. Finally, to end this experience on a sweet note, you will delight in a homemade tiramisu, the timeless dessert of Italian tradition. It will be a unique experience full of conviviality and flavor, designed to make you feel at home while immersed in the tastes and aromas of Bologna.

- Some friends invited us to lunch at a Cesarina’s home. As true Bolognese people, we liked the idea of having a new experience, because we had only ever heard of Cesarine. Martina immediately proved to be a kind and accommodating hostess, able to make you feel comfortable with a warm welcome. As a Bolognese native and of a certain age, I consider myself particularly demanding and was favorably impressed by how Martina proved to be a true Bolognese cook, with attention to recipes, raw materials, wine selection and, above all, execution, fully respecting tradition. The tagliatelle pasta sheet rolled out with a rolling pin to perfection. Balanzoni and gourmet tiramisu. We returned home full, happy and satisfied with the experience. Thank you Martina!

I grew up in a small town on the Bolognese Apennines, at my grandparents' house. From Nonna Giuliana I learned what it means to show your love for the family through the kitchen, gathering for the Sunday lunch ritual. From Rina, a special woman who I describe as 'everything I have not', I learned to welcome and take care of people naturally, at any time. When I was a child I was enchanted to observe their movements, their hands and I tried to imitate them. Knead, mix, wait and see the results. I open the doors of my home to convey what I have learned, accompanying my guests on a journey between past, present and future."
