On the occasion of this lunch or dinner experience, I open the doors of my home in Bologna to let you enjoy a true Bolognese experience.
I will welcome you with an appetizer of bruschette made with local typical products. Next, you will have the opportunity to savor the authentic flavors of the city’s culinary tradition, starting with a special first course loved by everyone: tagliatelle with ragù, the iconic dish of Emilian cuisine. Finally, to end this experience on a sweet note, you will delight in a homemade tiramisu, the timeless dessert of Italian tradition. It will be a unique experience full of conviviality and flavor, designed to make you feel at home while immersed in the tastes and aromas of Bologna.

- Martina hosted us for a wonderful class. She spent much time with us to shop and then to prepare a delicious lunch! We enjoyed every aspect of our culinary experience with her. Our tagliatelle and tiramisu were so good. We had a delightful day with her!
- My family loves to cook and we wanted to learn to make pasta. I’m so glad we got paired with Martina. Taking the tour through the market and learning history about Bologna from a local was awesome. The whole lesson of making pasta, eating, and having great conversation was an amazing experience that everyone should have.

Cesarina from 2022Location: Bologna (BO) Languages: Italian, English, French"It all started in kindergarten, I just wanted to be in the kitchen helping the cook and never in class. I grew up in a small town on the Bolognese Apennines, at my grandparents' house. From Nonna Giuliana I learned what it means to show your love for the family through the kitchen, gathering for the Sunday lunch ritual. From Rina, a special woman who I describe as 'everything I have not', I learned to welcome and take care of people naturally, at any time. When I was a child I was enchanted to observe their movements, their hands and I tried to imitate them. Knead, mix, wait and see the results. I open the doors of my home to convey what I have learned, accompanying my guests on a journey between past, present and future."
