With this experience, I invite my guests to immerse themselves in the world of cinema and savor iconic dishes from various films. This is not about simple regional recipes, but rather a journey through Italy enriched with touches of Middle Eastern flavors. From "Mid-August Lunch" to "The Ignorant Fairies," to make you feel like the protagonists.
In the film "Mid-August Lunch," one of the most beloved guests is our cherished pasta, which always knows how to bring everyone together: baked pasta prepared with classic Bolognese ragù and béchamel, all topped with generous amounts of Parmigiano Reggiano.
The stars of "The Ignorant Fairies" are the white meatballs, enhanced with apple, onion, and spices, to be enjoyed with confit tomatoes or other seasonal vegetables.

- We had a great time making pasta and tiramisu with Paola. She was extremely patient with our lack of cocking skills, spoke perfect English and told us lots of tricks that we can apply at home. Nonetheless, food was delicious, much better than what we tried in restaurants, so we can fully recommend the experience.

Paola ci ha accolte con calore e grande entusiasmo nella sua splendida casa, guidandoci passo dopo passo con molta pazienza e passione. È stata un'esperienza che ci ha coinvolto completamente e che consigliamo assolutamente a chiunque voglia vivere un momento autentico e divertente.
- What a lovely experience learning to make lasagna bolognese with Paola. After 4 weeks of travel, the day was like a breath of fresh air. Spending the day cooking and meeting a new friend. Sitting down in her beautiful table and having a home cooked meal was perfect. I learned a lot about local cuisine. I love how food is a great unifier across the world. We all enjoy the love & traditions conveyed in the kitchen. I intend to make this with my kids when we get home!! Perhaps a new holiday tradition for us now. Grazie Paola❣️
- Paola was such a great host and cook. She was so patient with us and taught us the right technique. She was also very nice to chat with and prepared a great meal for us after our lesson. Paola is a gem and I’d highly recommend her cooking class to anyone visiting Bologna!
- Paola è un'ottima cuoca e riesce a insegnare benissimo come cucinare, anche a me che non sono molto dotata! E anche un ottima padrona di casa. E stata la mia prima esperienza con le Cesarine e trovo l'idea sia fantastica. Abbiamo inoltre mangiato benissimo!
