Donuts
As at home is the motto of Cesarina expert Francesca. Designed especially for vegans and those intolerant to gluten, we will make simple and tasty dishes. We will stroll through the villa's vegetable garden, immersing ourselves in the olive and fruit trees. In the kitchen, we will prepare stuffed peppers together with vegetables from the garden. We will also discover an ancient traditional Roman recipe for doughnuts, made with a secret ingredient that makes them unique, even vegan. We will also try our hand at setting a table in perfect Italian style. Each guest will have everything they need for the class.
A wonderful experience! We were warmly welcomed as if we were part of the family. We had a great time, enjoyed ourselves very much, and had the opportunity to learn new things, sharing a truly special moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authenticity and human warmth!

We had such a lovely evening with Francesca and her incredibly kind, helpful assistants. We made excellent gnocchi, which we’re definitely going to try to recreate at home, and the apple pastries were just delicious, especially with her homemade jam. Francesca makes so many things from scratch; the whole experience really reminded me of my mom. Thank you for everything, Francesca. We’ll be telling our grandkids all about you!

An unforgettable evening with Francesca and her family in Civitavecchia. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. Francesca welcomed us with warmth, laughter, and incredible food. Every dish was made with love and local ingredients. The stories she shared brought the recipes to life, and the setting among olive trees made everything magical.
It wasn’t just a cooking class; it was a real Italian experience that touched our hearts. We left with full stomachs, new friends, and beautiful memories. Truly grateful for all of this!

Hi, I'm Francesca! Originally from Naples but now living in Rome, I welcome my guests to a villa nestled among olive and fruit trees in the countryside of Civitavecchia. "Those who cook with love nourish more than just the body" – this philosophy guides every dish I prepare. Together, we’ll share the joy of picking vegetables from the garden, while discovering stories and traditions dating back to the early 1900s, offering a unique and authentic experience.
