Your experience

In my cozy apartment, located in the heart of Piano di Sorrento, we will spend carefree hours having fun preparing a delicious menu typical of the Sorrento Peninsula. Together, we will create a fresh appetizer consisting of cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cherries, olives and basil on a crispy wheat base. Next, we will focus on making the renowned Sorrentine-style potato gnocchi and conclude with a delicious revisited tiramisu, enriched by the unmistakable aroma of Sorrento lemons.

Clara was an amazing host! She welcomed into her home and treated us as family with wine and appetizers, ensuring we were always comfortable and taken care of. The instruction was 1 on 1 and we felt as though we learned a lot of great tips that we can take home and try ourselves. We had an amazing experience and would recommend Clara to everyone! She even gave us leftovers to take home to enjoy later. Great overall experience and can’t wait to do it again in the future!

We had a wonderful evening with Clara and her lovely daughter during this cooking course. My husband, our two children (aged 12 and 14), and I all felt incredibly welcome in their home. Communication before the class was clear and helpful, and Clara made sure everything ran smoothly from the start. We learned to make two types of pasta and a delicious tiramisu. Clara was so accommodating- my son and I are vegetarian while my husband and daughter eat meat, and she catered to everyone with ease. She even let us experiment with different tiramisu flavours since the kids aren’t fans of coffee….lemon was the clear winner! It was such a special experience to spend time in their home, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday. My son said it was his favourite part of the trip, and he’s already planning to recreate the recipes at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable experience!

Clara and her family welcomed us into their home with open arms and it was such a great experience for our family. We have 2 teenagers and weren’t sure how they’d like taking a cooking class. They loved it! Our daughter has a gluten allergy and Clara was more than accommodating than I expected. She had prepared our daughter with a special gluten free lasagna along with her own mozzarella and tomato salad. We made tiramisu and ravioli and another pasta, all exceptional. We enjoyed our dishes afterwards with Clara’s husband and 2 daughters. It was such a great day for all of us, I’d highly recommend you take one of Clara’s classes, you will not be disappointed! She’s the best!

Clara was extremely kind and opened her home to my husband and I on our honeymoon. Her family was sweet and she showed us some amazing recipes that we can’t wait to make for our family back home. She also was very helpful in communicating things to do while we were there. Would highly recommend!

My name is Clara, born in Paris to Campanian parents. I lived in Sorrento until the age of 18, and then I traveled around the world for work. I immediately fell in love with trying international and multicultural cuisine, and while working on cruise ships as a hotel manager, I learned firsthand how to navigate large kitchens on 4-star floating hotels. It was there that my passion for pastry also emerged, leading me to deepen my studies at Compait and attend various courses for artisan bread-making. I greatly enjoy teaching what has always been a profound passion of mine. My specialties undoubtedly include desserts, artisan bread, basic pastry, and the traditional sweets of my region. Pastiera, sfogliatelle, and other delights. I also love making pizza and fresh pasta with great enthusiasm.
