Welcome aboard a cooking session that will take you on a journey through three enchanting places in my land, paying homage to the typicality of three internationally known dishes.
We will begin our adventure in Capri with "raviolo alla caprese," a fresh pasta shell that encloses a delicate filling, topped with a sauce made with fresh cherry tomatoes. From Capri we will move on to Sorrento, where the dough of the gnocco is simple but the use of ingredients is what makes the difference: a rich tomato puree, our creamy fiordilatte and extra virgin olive oil from the surrounding hills. Finally, we will stop in Nerano to discover "scialatiello," a fresh pasta invented by a Sorrento chef.

- Cooking class in Sorrento with Laura of Cesarina at her beautiful home. What a truly unique and special experience to cook pasta and tiramisu with this exceptional woman and her assistant (I'm so sorry I forgot her name) both were incredibly inviting, and warm. We felt as though we were visiting family. The class was educational and fun and the food was outstanding. If you're in Sorrento look her up! Thanks again Laura!

In a welcoming and authentic atmosphere, we learned to make handmade gnocchi and a delicious traditional tiramisu. The hostess was very kind, patient, and shared with us not only her recipes, but also stories and traditions of Italian cuisine. It was a special moment, full of flavors, smiles, and passion.
