    We just returned from an amazing two weeks of touring southern Italy, and I didn’t want another day to pass without writing a testimonial for Alessandra and her incredible cooking class. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip—something we kept referring back to as we ate our way through Italy. Alessandra is a gem. You will read many glowing reviews about her, and I can assure you they are all true. Her home, perched high in the hills with stunning views of Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples, is surrounded by gardens, vegetables, and chickens that provide the fresh eggs for her pasta. From the moment you arrive, she welcomes you in with warmth and makes you feel completely at home. She is a fantastic teacher—patient, engaging, and full of joy. We drank wine, chatted, made pasta, and created memories that will last a lifetime. The meal we prepared together was incredible, but the best part was leaving with the confidence and excitement to recreate it back home. We even talked about learning Italian! Alessandra went above and beyond, asking about our trip and offering to take us on a small tour of her favorite local spots. She even brought us to her favorite bakery. If you have the opportunity to take a cooking class with Alessandra, don’t hesitate. It’s an experience you’ll never forget, and when you leave, you’ll feel as though you’ve discovered new family in Italy!

    Everything from start to finish was great. Alessandra gave us transportation to and from our hotel to the cooking location. She explained every dish well and even played tour guide showing us along the way stops and views of the cities. 10/10 would recommend anyone staying in Sorrento to book a class with her. She was the best!! Would fly from NY to Italy to do it again!
