Alessandra was such a delight. I can't thank her enough for such a wonderful time cooking, learning about the local markets, laughing and spending time with my girls. I highly recommend taking a cooking class with Alessandra!! We will never forget her.

Alessandra was incredible. Learning to cook fresh pasta at her beautiful home was one of the highlights of our trip! She was engaging and just the right balance of good instruction and light humor. My two teenage boys really enjoyed it. It will be a core memory of our Italian vacation. I cannot recommend Alessandra enough!

Alessandra was so incredibly sweet opening her home to us and teaching us to cook a delicious authentic Italian meal. She was willing to accommodate a gluten intolerance too. She used some English and a translator device so if you speak fluent Italian, you'll love it even more.

She was a great host! From the start she welcomed us into her home with open arms. She have a nice demonstration on pasta then allowed us to make it. We would highly recommend her for parties as small as 2 and as big as 12! We hope to come back and have another class with her. She is very knowledgeable not only on pasta but Italy as a whole.

My spouse and I took Alessandra’s private cooking class while visiting Sorrento, and it was the highlight of the entire trip! This was more than simply a cooking class, but was an authentic and entirely unforgettable experience, and we could not recommend it more. Alessandra first took us on a tour throughout Sorrento to collect some ingredients for the class, including the farmer’s market, a fish market, cheese shop, and bakery. We then went with her to her beautiful home up in the mountains, where we cooked fresh tagliatelle pasta with clam sauce, fried anchovies, a fried Italian sandwich, and a delicious tiramisu. She was the most gracious hostess, served us prosecco and wine, and truly making us feel like family! The views from her kitchen and terrace where we enjoyed our meal were absolutely breathtaking. Alessandra was responsive, adapting the meal plan to our preferences, and the effort she put into the whole afternoon made for an unbelievable experience. Not to mention, the cooking class itself was very informative and we learned many things regarding the meal, and beyond. She was thorough in her instructions, patient, kind, and generous, and she made sure to document the experience for us with pictures and videos so that we didn’t have to worry about that. If you are near Sorrento and looking for a cooking class (or rather, an entire cooking experience with a stunning view), you MUST sign up for the class with Alessandra. We did many amazing things during our 2-week trip to Italy and this experience was, hands down, the highlight of our entire trip. If we are able to make it back to Italy, Alessandra will be the first person we call! Take her class and you will not be disappointed.

Cesarina from 2021Location: Sorrento (NA)    Languages: Italian, English, French
Sorrento, land of sirens that tempted Ulysses and home of Torquato Tasso, offers moments of poetry between secret coves, breathtaking views and tasty stops, as at home of our Cesarina Alessandra. "I love traditional cuisine and I am passionate about leavened, especially the Neapolitan pizza made with my sourdough, with which I make fragrant breads, of any kind of flour". At her table flavors of sea and land, recipes of the culinary tradition of Sorrento, fragrant and tasty.
