Explore the city on a captivating walking tour followed by an authentic cooking experience
Discover Turin on this eco-friendly walking experience through lively neighborhoods, local markets, and traditional cuisine.
We’ll start at Porta Palazzo Market, where we’ll visit our favorite stalls and one of the best wine shops in the city. As we walk back home, we’ll pass through the vibrant Vanchiglia district and stop at a historic flour shop. Once at my place, we’ll begin a 2-hour cooking class, where we’ll prepare a dish of fresh pasta, such as gnocchi or tajarin, and I’ll guide you step by step. We’ll top it with a seasonal sauce and enjoy it with a glass of local wine. This is the perfect experience for anyone looking to explore the gastronomic soul of Turin. I can’t wait to share this memory with you – see you soon!

- We gave Sara and Alessio five stars but they deserved TEN! It was a fabulous evening of amazing food, great conversation, many laughs, and warm welcoming gracious hospitality. We cannot recommend this couple and this experience enough!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Lovely evening exploring the markets, making pasta and enjoying dinner in their home. Would highly recommend.
- We had a fantastic cooking experience with Sara and Alessio in Turino. We were welcomed into their home and taught how to make the perfect gnocchi, pasta and tiramisu which we enjoyed sharing with them. Their love of food was infectious and their knowledge of Italian cuisine was excellent. We will certainly be trying to replicate these dishes when we are home. Thank you Sara and Alessio. We arrived as strangers and left as friends.
- An Italian Feast to Remember with Sara and Alessio. An absolute must while visiting Turin. From the moment we arrived at Sara and Alessio’s home, their warmth and openness made us feel completely at ease - like we were visiting old friends. We began with a hands-on pasta-making session, where Sara and Alessio gently guided us through traditional techniques while weaving in stories and traditions of the local area. We discovered the history and meaning behind each type of pasta. It was both fun and educational, and Sara and Alessio guided us patiently through every step, making it easy to relax and enjoy the process. With our pasta crafted, the dining began: the starter featured a range of small plates, including exquisite eggs and soft, flavorful focaccia bread that immediately showcased the quality of local ingredients and tradition but most importantly, home-made talented cooking. Then came the highlight: the pasta we had made ourselves, served as a main course. The taste was simply outstanding - fresh, rich and authentic. A wonderful wine was paired beautifully, elevating every bite. For dessert, we indulged in a sweet treat that perfectly closed the meal. Beyond the flavours, Sara and Alessio shared so much of themselves - stories of the region, food techniques and their lives. Alessio’s passion for curing meats added another layer of depth to the experience, making it feel less like a class and more like a heartfelt exchange. In every moment, they were outstanding and thoughtful hosts, blending authentic tradition with genuine conviviality. This wasn’t just a cooking class - it was a rich and wholesome experience through food, wine and storytelling. An absolute highlight of our travels. Thank you Sara and Alessio.
- We did the course with my 3 children. We all had a brilliant time and Sara and Alessio were fantastic hosts. I would really recommend the course.
