The Saturday morning farmer's market represents the reality of our area, respects local traditions, and is worth visiting.

We will then move to the garden of my home to prepare together an appetizer, fresh pasta with flour chosen from the different types that my family uses, a seasonal sauce, and a typical local dessert that we will choose together from several recipes. We will end the experience by learning how to set my family's typical table.

My husband and I had an incredible experience with Monica and her husband. The house was lovely, as we made food on the back patio. We started by making the dough and then while the dough raised, we had some appetizers that were local to their area. We had incredible conversation, although somewhat challenging with the language, but we all did incredibly well. We then made the pasta and the sauces for the noodles. It was an incredible night! And one that I would recommend to anyone.

We had such a lovely time with Monica during our cooking class! She treated us like family, and served us to some of the most delicious food we have had in Italy! This experience was wonderful! We were paired with Monica who warmly welcomed us into her home and gave us a night to remember! We started by analyzing the unlimited number of available Italian flour before selecting the base of our pasta. She was patient and strict at the same time - exactly what you'd expect from an Italian teacher. We greatly enjoyed rolling the dough, making the sauces, cutting the pasta, and drinking the wine! Monica and her husband were super entertaining with their local stories and jubilant attitude. I was full for days afterwards. 10/10 would cook again!

She took the time to make sure we understood the techniques and we rested with good food, good company and good wine in between! Paolo, Monica’s husband was wonderful as well.
