Welcome to Modena!

Emilia-Romagna can be considered the epicentre of Italian cuisine and Modena is at its heart. This city is home to most well-known DOP and IGP Italian products like balsamic vinegar, Lambrusco wine and Parmigiano reggiano, but also zampone, cotechino and Modena's ham. Eating at a local family’s home in Modena is having a “journey” through the local gastronomy and great food. Tigelle and crescentine, typical breads from this area, are filled with delicious ham or creamy squacquerone cheese, tortellini, zuppa inglese and nocino liqueur as a digestif. This is just a taste of what’s to come!
