During this cooking-class you will be able to make different doughs with flour, preparations ranging from savory to sweet, such as appetizers and tasty dishes or wonderful cakes. The doughs will have different ingredients, texture and taste with tasty and surprising results.

This cooking class will include a savory appetizer, a fresh pasta dish, and tartlets with custard and fresh fruit.

Each cook-pastry chef will have his or her own station to make their own doughs and make the entire recipes for these three dishes. This will then be followed by a tasting of what they have prepared with their own hands.

What a wonderful evening. Christina and her husband were wonderful host and the food was perfect. They invited a friend that was interested in travel, loved to eat and spoke excellent English to join us. Christina's english was good too. I helped Christina roll the pasta and she did the cooking. I was able to relax and enjoy the evening. Her sweet mother came to meet me and I also met her young grandson. It was a wonderful way to experience real Italian family life. I was staying in the city of Reggio Emilia so I took a train to a nearby station and she picked me up. She and her husband drove me back to my apartment in the city afterwards. That was a great help because they did not feel I should walk alone late a night from the station in Reggio Emilia. I 100% recommend this dinner.

As in all the land of Emilia, cuisine is a cult. In each home, on the occasion of celebrations and anniversaries, you will find cappelletti in broth, green or yellow pumpkin tortelli prepared according to ancient family recipes. The local dishes are derived from Reggio Emilia and Modena: Maria Cristina interprets this grafting of the two culinary traditions, presenting some of the most typical local recipes once again.
