Sono Monica, una cuoca appassionata che ha sempre amato preparare deliziose pietanze, anche per grandi gruppi di persone.
Per iniziare, prepareremo un antipasto con pizza fritta e salvia, abbinato al Prosecco. Poi passeremo ai fiori di zucca fritti, alle verdure come zucchine, melanzane, pomodori, cipolle e polenta fritta con salse di stagione. Prepareremo la pasta fresca, i bigoli, con farina 00, accompagnata dalla nostra salsa fatta in casa. Come dessert realizzeremo il "Buccellato fritto", un tipico dolce locale o il Tiramisù su richiesta. Abbiniamo i piatti con Prosecco o vino rosso, a vostra scelta. degusteremo i piatti preparati in giardino, se la stagione lo permette. Unitevi a me per un'esperienza culinaria indimenticabile!

- This experience was wonderful! We were paired with Monica who warmly welcomed us into her home and gave us a night to remember! We started by analyzing the unlimited number of available Italian flour before selecting the base of our pasta. She was patient and strict at the same time - exactly what you'd expect from an Italian teacher. We greatly enjoyed rolling the dough, making the sauces, cutting the pasta, and drinking the wine! Monica and her husband were super entertaining with their local stories and jubilant attitude. I was full for days afterwards. 10/10 would cook again!
- Our afternoon with Monica was wonderful! It was not only authentic and educational but Monica made us feel like family! She took the time to make sure we understood the techniques and we rested with good food, good company and good wine in between! Paolo, Monica’s husband was wonderful as well. He worked hard behind the scene to make this a memorable experience!
- Must take Monica's Lucca Cooking Class! Monica’s cooking class is a MUST have experience. She is patient, kind and is so knowledgeable about authentic Italian cooking. She taught our group so much about all of the products we used to cook with and how to cook with your senses. We were treated like family and she took the time to explain and answer all questions. Monica cooks from her heart and has a passion to teach others. It was lovely to sit on her outside table and cook in her outdoor kitchen. It was a beautiful yard space and cooking set up. We will be recommending her to any friends or family visiting Lucca. She is the absolute BEST!
- Monica was a delight. She welcomed us into her home and we had a wonderful learning, cooking, and eating experience. She shared her love of food and cooking with us in a friendly, enjoyable way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
- It was truly a pleasure spending the day with Monica and her husband. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our pasta making and enjoyed the foods Monica prepared. She was such a delight! I would highly recommend this activity! The only negative I have was that there was no Market tour, which is how it was advertised with "Get Your Guide", but that was no fault of Monica's. She was simply the best!
