Impariamo a preparare deliziosi ravioli di pesce con ingredienti freschi e non di allevamento, usando pasta fatta in casa e tecniche tradizionali, come il tipico attrezzo o a mano (cappelletti o tortellini). Gusteremo antipasti di stagione: bruschette (olio evo, pomodoro, lardo aromatizzato), salumi e formaggi locali. Prepariamo una croccante frittura julienne di verdure di stagione, con calamari o totani tagliati a pezzetti. Per concludere, un dolce della tradizione lucchese. Il tutto accompagnato da prosecco o vino bianco doc.

Monica was a last minute switch for us as our original chef became sick the day before our class. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher and guide to Italian cuisine. We took this class while on our honeymoon, and it was one of our favorite experiences during our three weeks in Italy. She and her husband were both incredibly warm and inviting, and made us feel like part of their family. We felt that we got much more than just a cooking class, but also an introduction and welcome into Italian culture. We will absolutely be returning when we come back to Italy.

Monica and her husband welcomed us in her home and had a lovely family dinner with us. We made two fresh pastas that were delicious. Besides the pasta, they had prepared different food for us to taste. Unfortunately we did not make tiramisu but overall it was a great experience!
