Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Black crostini
  • Cappelletti in broth
  • Almond Torciglione

Christmas is just round the corner and I’d like us to rediscover together that atmosphere of joy and anticipation that once accompanied the preparation of the festive dishes: cappelletti, crostini neri and torciglione di mandorle. I remember the customary questions: “Have you made the cappelletti? How did they turn out? Do you add a little grated lemon zest?” This is how exchanges, traditions and conviviality were born. In this cookery class, we’ll prepare these recipes together by the fireside, amidst chatter and music. At the end, we’ll savour the dishes and take home the authentic flavour of an Umbrian Christmas.

Dear Marisa ❤️ We are so grateful to you for such an incredible and unforgettable experience. The atmosphere you created was so joyful, warm, and full of your wonderful energy! The ravioli you taught us to prepare was truly special and absolutely delicious. And the tiramisu… we honestly had no idea it could reach such an extraordinary level of flavor! Everything was absolutely perfect. Above all, your hospitality was exceptional. You welcomed us into your home so warmly and treated us with incredible kindness and generosity. You made us feel as though we were guests of an old friend—and we truly didn’t want to leave! This was undoubtedly the most enjoyable experience we had during our trip to Italy. Thank you for making it so special and unforgettable ❤️ With love and appreciation, The Ianculovic Family

My favorite dishes are those made with long-fermentation doughs. One of my specialties is the Easter cheese bread, infused with the warm and inviting aromas of cinnamon and cloves. All my pasta is handmade, paired with simple yet flavorful sauces, such as *aglione* and white Chianina ragù. For desserts, I often prepare zuppa inglese, made with the traditional Umbrian torcolo soaked in alchermes, and salame del re, two delightful classics of Italian tradition.
