Our host was a very sweet lady who opened her home to give us a cooking lesson. Her English was easy to understand; otherwise, we would have used Google Translate. It was a lovely surprise that my boyfriend had booked for me. During the lesson, we learned how to make busiate pasta. It was certainly not easy, but with good guidance, we managed! Before we started, our host had prepared some delicious snacks with a nice glass of wine. After that, we got to work. Definitely recommended to book this.

Maria gave us a very warm welcome and taught us a cooking class right in her home! She gave us very clear instructions in English on how to make traditional recipes for tiramisu, ricotta and spinach ravioli, and busiate alla norma. She also shared plenty of tips for recreating the dishes at home. Maria prepared a little appetizer for us, and then we got to eat the dishes we’d made. We even left with an extra slice of tiramisu! 😋😍

We had the best time making pasta with Maria! My two cousins, my husband, and myself made ravioli, cavatelli, and tiramisu Everything turned out so perfectly that we couldn’t believe we made it! Delicious. Maria is a great teacher and she is warm, patient, & friendly. She took us into her home and treated us like family. She also made some special appetizers for us with a glass of wine in between making the two pastas. I highly recommend her pasta making class. Thank you Maria 😊

Giulia and her husband helped us having the best evening in Palermo we could expect! The atmosphere was full of warmth and hospitality in their home! We enjoyed cooking and talking over recipes in the kitchen while she showed us how to deal with Ravioli and Tiramisu the Sicil. During and after the dinner it really felt like visiting friends and family for an Easter dinner.

Maria was fantastic! She shared her lovely home and kitchen with us and treated us like members of the family. We made delicious ravioli and cavatelli from scratch and she shared some bruschetta and pickled pumpkin that was incredible!

"Mine is a simple cuisine. In fact, I do not like dishes with too many ingredients because I think that the flavors must be rediscovered and not" covered "by the sometimes excessive use of cream or other. It is also a cuisine linked to the memory of the dishes cooked from my grandmother or my mother ".
