Let yourself be enveloped by the inviting aroma of focaccia enriched with cracklings and lard, and the enveloping aroma of erbazzone, a rustic pie typical of the Reggio Emilia tradition. All this will be delighted by a glass of Lambrusco or Spergola, your choice. You will be actively involved in the preparation of the dishes, thus being able to fully savor the genuine flavors of Emilian cuisine. I will open the doors of my home to offer you an authentic and warm experience. Together we will prepare and taste the recipes handed down from my family, giving you an unforgettable culinary journey.
Our cooking class with Chiara exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved the entire experience and would highly recommend her class. Everything went perfect. As a host, Chiara made us feel comfortable and welcome as soon as we arrived and she did a great job of communicating with us before the class to ensure everything would go smoothly.
As a teacher, Chiara was patient, fun, and incredibly helpful. She kept us well-informed through the whole cooking process and helped guide the way as we, complete amateurs, learned from a pro!
The quality of the ingredients was top notch which made for absolutely delicious final products!!!
Dinner wasn’t just great food, as we thoroughly enjoyed the company. Eating felt more like hanging out with friends rather than a classroom. This was a great benefit as it made us feel like we experienced an authentic piece of Italian culture.

Our Cesarina Chiara lives in Reggiolo, a small town on the border between Emilia and Lombardy, land of the Po and the Gonzagas. "I am a young girl who grew up on 'tortelli and cappelletti'. Nonna Luisa taught me to work fresh pasta, to prepare simple dishes, but rich in tradition. I am waiting for you to savor those flavors that for me are home, authenticity and sharing."
