We explore a land steeped in charm, history and contradictions, the custodian of ancient traditions handed down through the ages. From the majestic mountain ranges, through rolling hills covered with lush vegetation, we head to the coasts that face now the Tyrrhenian Sea, now the Ionian Sea, in a few moments. We sit down to enjoy an authentic Calabrian lunch, immersed in the history that has shaped this region over the centuries. The roots of this culinary experience go back to Magna Graecia, crossing the Byzantine, Norman, Angevin and Aragonese dominations, offering a journey through time. This is enhanced by the tasting of fine local wines and stories passed down from generation to generation.

Had the most amazing afternoon at Grazia’s cooking class. Location was perfect, hospitality was excellent and of course the food was 10/10. We made 3 different courses and cooked with local, seasonal produce which was delicious. Grazia’s partner Francesco provided transfers to/from the train station & gave us an in-depth overview of the history of the area which was an added bonus! Overall, Grazia truly went above and beyond to make the experience as authentic as it could be. This cooking class was the biggest highlight of our trip to Italy and we could not recommend high enough!
