    Discover how to prepare the iconic dessert of Ligurian tradition: pandolce genovese. A Christmas holiday classic, but so good that it is worth enjoying all year round! We will prepare together this fragrant dessert full of raisins, candied fruit, pine nuts and butter... and a few secret ingredients that I will reveal only during the course. It is an ancient recipe, handed down for generations in my family, without preservatives but with a long shelf life: it keeps perfectly for two weeks. A perfect dessert to share or give from the heart, just as we do.

    Roberta was helpful with directions to her home. So kind of our being late because of train issues. Roberta and her friends were so gracious. The food was beyond what we expected.

    Absolutely amazing experience cooking at Roberta ‘s house. She welcomed us into her home as if we were part of the family and taught us how to make Gnocci, tiramisu & Sgabei (a delicious fried bread). We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Italian experience, it was a real highlight of our trip.

    Roberta & Ricardo are lovely, welcoming hosts. Roberta's cooking is divine. She patiently answered our many questions - and she customized for preferences in our group. Her lasagna is perhaps the best thing we've eaten after a week in Italy. One minor consideration: their beautiful home is a little outside of La Spezia and taxis can be tricky. Highly recommend dining with Cesarine!
