Shared Experience
Your experience
- Homemade fresh pasta
I’ll be waiting for you in the kitchen of my old family home, in the heart of La Spezia, where the aroma of traditional recipes blends with the warmth of genuine hospitality. Cooking, to me, is an act of love, and sharing this passion is what makes every encounter truly special.
Together, we’ll prepare a typical Italian lunch (or dinner), made with fresh, wholesome ingredients tied to our land. Fresh pasta will be the star of the table, accompanied by seasonal vegetables, local cheeses, and traditional cured meats from Ligurian heritage. Every dish will tell a story, and every flavor will speak of our culture.
During this experience, you won’t be just guests — we’ll share stories, smiles, and the little gestures that make the kitchen a truly magical place.

- Roberta opened our home to us and was so accommodating, we had a wonderful meal and she shared so much information and was very knowledgeable about all of the food, where it was sourced and how it was made. It was a really special experience and one to remember, I would highly recommend her!!!
- Kelly and I had a great day with Roberta. She welcomed us into her home and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. She taught us how to make several dishes and once they were compete we sat down at her beautiful dining room and enjoyed our creations. We talked and laughed and had one of the best days of our cruise. When we come back to La Spezzia we will definetly want to meet up with our new friend Roberta. Ciao, Ciao!
- Roberta was helpful with directions to her home. So kind of our being late because of train issues. Roberta and her friends were so gracious. The food was beyond what we expected.
- Absolutely amazing experience cooking at Roberta ‘s house. She welcomed us into her home as if we were part of the family and taught us how to make Gnocci, tiramisu & Sgabei (a delicious fried bread). We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a true Italian experience, it was a real highlight of our trip.
- Roberta & Ricardo are lovely, welcoming hosts. Roberta's cooking is divine. She patiently answered our many questions - and she customized for preferences in our group. Her lasagna is perhaps the best thing we've eaten after a week in Italy. One minor consideration: their beautiful home is a little outside of La Spezia and taxis can be tricky. Highly recommend dining with Cesarine!

Cesarina from 2021Location: La Spezia (SP) Languages: French, English, Italian"I grew up in a house where every Sunday, party or anniversary was an opportunity to reunite family and friends. The passion for cooking was transmitted to me by my mother and then by my mother-in-law, a native of Riomaggiore, who guided me in the preparation of pies of our tradition. Last, but only in order of time, my master Enzo, the baker who was the arm and mind of the bakery that I managed for 15 years, to which I 'stole' everything you should know about bread, focaccia..."
