We will visit my garden together, where I will tell you about the choice of vegetables and their seasonality. We will be able to harvest and cook them together, while I will teach you about the culture of Neapolitan cuisine using locally sourced ingredients.

We will gather lemons from my orchard, and I will explain how to prepare a quality limoncello. You will taste the wine produced by my family and enjoy a wonderful view of Mount Vesuvius and the entire peninsula.

I will teach you how to make lemon gelato using the fruits from my garden that we will harvest together, and I will explain how to use the peels to make excellent limoncello.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing! It’s not my first cooking class, but it’s been the most beneficial, most fun, and interactive class! My mom doesn’t speak English or Italian, Alessandra made sure she’s involved and brought out a translation device for her to understand everything we’re saying! On another note, the pasta and tiramisu we made were the best out of all we’ve tasted during our trip! Her house, her attitude and her personality were a highlight of the experience! I instantly recommended this class to my friends and family who are visiting and totally encourage you to book it! She’s also very helpful and shared all the recipes and photos of us on WhatsApp and was also very happy to answer any questions when we try to make the dishes back home! One thing to also note, Alessandra helped in picking us up and dropping us off which was very helpful as we didn’t have a private car! Thank you Alessandra, you’re the best!!!!

We had a fantastic time with Alessandra today! She’s a fabulous host who welcomed us into her lovely home high in the hills like we were old friends before giving us a tour of her wonderful garden in which she grows almost all the ingredients for the delicious meal herself. We are not great cooks but she patiently and with great humour taught us how to prepare delicious spaghetti, ravioli, tomato sauce and tiramisu. We then enjoyed eating everything we’d made with a glass of her homemade Merlot and homemade limoncello while taking in the fantastic views of Vesuvius and the bay far below us. Alessandra took lots of photo’s while we were with her which she forwarded to us along with all the recipes before we left. She was kind enough to collect us from our hotel as she’d been shopping nearby and took us back to our hotel so we could admire the stunning views from both sides of the mountain. She got in touch with us prior to the experience via WhatsApp to check our dietary requirements and travel arrangements and communication during the experience was very easy with help from her translation device. Our time with Alessandra was the highlight of our trip and I have no hesitation in highly recommending this experience with her. I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying it!
