By joining this food experience you will have the opportunity to really enjoy the Sicilian cuisine at a deeper and more personal level while sitting at my table dining with my family in my home in the heart of Palermo's historic center just a stone's throw away from the Opera House, the Teatro Massimo.
I will welcome you with a sicilian happy-hour, then we will end a dish altogether and I will show you for example how to shape a typical fresh pasta or how to prepare a typical appetizer such as cacio all'argentiera, a Palermo city traditional way of cooking cheese. I will also entertain you by telling you stories and anecdotes of dishes I will propose. We will taste together a three-course menu, all homemade, which will be served with excellent local wine and warm Sicilian hospitality.

- My boyfriend and I recently took a cooking class together, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences we’ve shared. Neither of us had ever done anything like this before, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect—but from the moment we arrived, it was clear we were in for a special evening. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the instructors made the whole process so fun and approachable. We learned so much—especially about pasta! I had no idea how much goes into making it from scratch, and we picked up tips and little bits of culinary knowledge that we’ll definitely carry with us. What really made the night stand out was how much we laughed and connected. It was the perfect mix of hands-on learning, great conversation, and genuinely delicious food. Honestly, the pasta we made tasted better than most restaurants we've been to! If you're looking for something fun and unique, I couldn’t recommend this cooking class enough. It was the kind of evening we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Alice’s home is a sanctuary from the busy and hot streets of the city. We learnt how to make a delicious 3 course Sicilian meal using seasonal ingredients and cannot wait to try out the recipes again ourselves. I highly recommend Alice and Francesco’s cooking classes!!

I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories."
