    Come to live an authentic Ligurian experience in our home in La Spezia. The heart of the class is the preparation of pesto in a mortar, a symbol of Ligurian culinary culture: an ancient ritual, made of slow and precise gestures, releasing the intense aromas of fresh basil, Parmesan, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil. During the cooking class, we will prepare together, step by step, homemade fresh tagliatelle, which we will then dress with the freshly made pesto, for a simple yet flavorful dish. We will conclude the experience by preparing a delicious homemade fruit gelato, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. In the end, more than just a cooking class, it will be a moment of sharing that will lead you to discover the true flavors of Liguria.

    5 starts isn’t enough! This was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon! Our hosts were absolutely amazing and this was a once in a lifetime experience. Their house was beautiful and the food we made was authentic and fresh! We didn’t want it to end!

    I am a chef and pizzaiolo with international experience and a deep passion for traditional cuisine. I love cooking with my mother on her beautiful terrace overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia, a perfect place to welcome friends and guests to enjoy our dishes. My specialties include pizza, focaccia, vegetable pies, and homemade pasta, always made with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. During the summer, we use fresh vegetables from our family garden, bringing the best seasonal flavors to the table. I have a strong connection to Ligurian and Tuscan cuisine, and one of the experiences we offer is an authentic pesto-making class using a mortar, just as tradition dictates. An experience filled with the aroma of fresh basil that truly captures the essence of our land.
