"Cooking is my greatest passion: when I am tired or thoughtful I go to the stove, because this is the only way I know to relax. I love to receive friends and acquaintances and offer them traditional Lombard dishes, but I also like to surprise them with some typical recipes from Campania, my region of origin. My house is large and welcoming, and enjoys a splendid view of Como, the Swiss Alps and Monte Rosa."

"From the Market to the Table" consists in a visit to the city market and a cooking lesson of typical Italian recipes.  You already know that the secret of every good dish is the ingredients, for this reason the cooking class will begin with a visit to the local market where the Cesarina will show you the typical local products and she will buy with you the ingredients for the recipes that you will prepare together.  You will be welcomed with a typical Italian aperitivo at the Cesarina's home, a beautiful penthouse with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, Como and Monte Rosa. During the lesson you will prepare an appetizer, a fresh pasta dish and a dessert. With experience and professionalism, the Cesarina will guide you right from the beginning of the preparation of all ingredients. She will show you how to prepare fresh pasta starting from mixing its basic ingredients and then you will be kneading it yourself! And finally the dessert! The Cesarina will also show you how to decorate it perfectly to amaze your guests at home. At the end of the lesson we will all have lunch together with the fantastic dishes you have prepared.

LOMBARDY'S FLOURS

"Lombardy’s Flours" consists in a unique Italian cooking lesson. I will open my home to you, a beautiful penthouse with breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, Como and Monte Rosa. You will eat the delicious dishes prepared by you, accompanied by excellent red or white wineand limoncello prepared by the hostess with organic lemons.  I will teach you how to cook with the typical Lombard flours: polenta flour, buckwheat flour and yellow flour "fioretto". We will prepare together a typical antipasto, a plate of fresh pasta and a dessert, so that you can go back home like an authentic Italian chef.  When you will be back, you will amaze your friends and family with these delicious authentic Italian recipes, and the memory of the time spent in a unique location, having fun and learning the family tricks,will leave you with a wonderful memory forever!

The “Gastronomic Walk” is way to taste a mix of high quality gastronomic products to show the Italian culture and lifestyle. You will be guided by a Cesarina who can explain to you every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations and related fun facts.  You will have the opportunity to taste some delicacies of our beautiful city and to discover secret places that the tour guides don’t even mention. It will be an exceptional and unique dining experience!  What is it all about:  - High quality cold cuts platter and a glass of local wine served in a historic wine shop - The delicious gourmet pizza in a historic bakery or you will have a taste of fresh lake fish and typical local food such as “Sciatt” (delicious and crunchy pancake type balls stuffed with melted cheese) in one of the most famous delis in Como. - “Torta Nuvola” (Cloud Cake) the typical dessert of Como. The shape is reminiscent of a large plumcake, while the consistency is something similar between Pandoro and Panettone, but much softer ... precisely like a CLOUD stuffed with a delicious apricot jam. Alternatively, you can enjoy an excellent artisan “gelato”.
