Super consigliata.

I had an incredible experience at this cooking class! We made gnocchi, cacio e pepe, and ravioli, and honestly the food was better than any restaurant I’ve eaten at in Rome—and I’ve been here for two weeks. The class was taught in great English, in a beautiful home that immediately felt welcoming. My teacher was amazing: she has so much experience and explains not just what to do, but why—from ingredient choices to techniques. I loved that she wasn’t the type to “do it for you”; instead, she let me make mistakes and learn from them, which made it way more rewarding. She even used her own homemade olive oil in every dish, which added something truly special. Beyond the cooking, her family was so kind and helpful, even with transport. It felt like spending the evening with friends. Oh—and did I mention the food was unbelievably good? Big shout out to her new company, Dibon Appetit. Wishing a very happy 22nd birthday to her daughter, too!

Cristina hosted the most amazing cooking class! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us into her beautiful home and made us feel completely at ease. The class was perfectly paced — we started by making a classic tiramisu, then took a lovely break to enjoy a delicious appetizer outside in her garden before moving on to making two different pastas from scratch. The ravioli was an absolute standout — my boyfriend hasn’t stopped talking about it since! Cristina generously shared all of her recipes with us so we can recreate the dishes at home and bring a little piece of Rome back with us. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was Cristina herself. She shared her journey as a chef and how she learned to cook from her grandmother at a young age. Her passion for cooking and for sharing her culture shines through in everything she does, making the class both fun and deeply personal. Even though we traveled about 20 minutes outside of Rome by Uber, it was so worth it. We left with full bellies, new skills, and wonderful memories. This was a highlight of our trip, and we can’t recommend Cristina’s class enough. We’re already dreaming about coming back to Rome to learn even more from her!

Cristina was very welcoming and thorough with her explanations on how to make each dish. She also answered a lot of questions about Roman and Italian food. Her villa is amazing with an amazing garden to have your meal. She also makes her own olive oil which was very special. Thank you Cristina for making our first cooking class memorable!
