Una pasta tipica barese, i cavatelli.
Questa pasta fatta con semola e acqua può essere condita in maniera diversa a seconda dei gusti e delle stagioni, in inverno si possono usare le rape, d'estate una salsa di pomodoro con basilico e ricotta dura. Vi insegnerò a farla e prepareremo insieme anche il condimento per poi degustarla con un calice di vino. Vi farò poi assaggiare anche una favolosa crostata di marmellata. Il menù è vegetariano ma può diventare eventualmente vegano. Sarò felice di ospitarvi nella mia casa!

- Cooking with Sara in her home was a fantastic experience. She shared her knowledge of Italian cooking and the secrets and techniques for success. She was well organized, the sauces for the pastas we made were done in advance. We totally expect we’ll be able to recreate what we prepared with her when we return home. Her cooking was done with love and we were able to share the time with her daughter who assisted her and were joined for lunch by her daughter’s lovely husband and their son. Truly a highlight of our time in Puglia.

- We really enjoyed our dinner experience with Sara and her family. She was extremely well prepared and very experienced in the kitchen. Her daughter and son-in-law joined us too. We appreciated getting to experience “real life” in Italy in a normal person’s home. This is probably the highlight of our trip to Italy and we recommend it to anyone who wants a glimpse into regular Italian life and wants to spend time with wonderful people. They even sent us home with our leftovers and lots of pictures of the evening.
- Sara and her family is super friendly. Her homemade food is excellent! The Italian fish pie is definitely very new to me and it's delicious. I also love our conversations during dinner. Highly recommend!
- Fun class! Sara was a wonderful and informative chef/host. We learned to make troccoli and cavatelli, then enjoyed good company eating up our freshly made pasta.
