I have chosen to share with you, in this cooking class, some typical Bari dishes. We will learn how to prepare durum wheat semolina tagliatelle, known as "lanc d cas," seasoned with a delicious local fish sauce, and cavatelli, a traditional Bari pasta perfectly paired with turnip tops. As a conclusion to our course, we will focus on making tiramisu in its classic version. During the preparation, we will enjoy an aperitif prepared by me, and afterwards we will share the meal, all enjoying together the dishes we will have just created. My family and I will be thrilled to welcome you to our home for an unforgettable dining experience.

We really enjoyed our dinner experience with Sara and her family. She was extremely well prepared and very experienced in the kitchen. Her daughter and son-in-law joined us too. We appreciated getting to experience “real life” in Italy in a normal person’s home. This is probably the highlight of our trip to Italy and we recommend it to anyone who wants a glimpse into regular Italian life and wants to spend time with wonderful people. They even sent us home with our leftovers and lots of pictures of the evening.
