Together, we’ll get to know and use my sourdough starter, his name is Gino, to make a fragrant and delicious flatbread. I’ll guide you step by step, sharing all the tips and tricks to keep your starter alive, healthy, and ready to work its magic in the kitchen. After the class, we’ll enjoy the freshly baked flatbread along with some sourdough bread I prepared in advance. In the warmer months, we’ll savor everything outdoors in my lush garden—an authentic and unforgettable experience.

- The cooking class was a blast. Sara and her son were so nice and welcoming it really felt like we were friends hanging out in their home. We learned a lot, ate the amazing food we made, and had a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills.

Cesarina from 2024Location: Greve in Chianti (FI) Languages: Italian, English, Spanish, FrenchI love rediscovering my mother's recipes and preparing traditional Tuscan first courses. I have my own sourdough starter and make bread, pizza, focaccia, rolls, flatbreads, and breadsticks, all at home using various types of flour. I also make vegan dishes, but the traditional ones that you wouldn't expect to be vegan. My cooking is rustic and simple, with an eye on sustainability. Additionally, I make pantry cakes and traditional sweet leavened baked goods.
