Alice and Francisco were wonderful hosts. From tee moment we entered there abode we felt at home. The food was delicious, each of the 4 courses was a culinary masterpiece. The conversation was absorbing. The market walkthrough was informative. This was a highlight of our monthlong time in Sicily. We give this the highest rating. Thank you both for a wonderful time.

Alice and her partner Francesco did a fantastic job and we really enjoyed the 2 evenings with them. Seasonal and natural cooking with old and traditional recipes is seldom to find and Alice and Francesco have specialized on that. We went twice and would have gone more often given the time. You find real tradition very seldom in our days. All the best to you both from Eva and Michael-back in Germany.

Had so much fun!!! Our hosts welcomed us into their homes and we had the best time. I loved the pasta and tiramisu. We talked and laughed about driving in Sicily and the cultural differences between Italians and Americans! It was such a unique experience and I highly recommend!

This was one of the best things we did on our honeymoon! Alice and Francesco were excellent hosts and full of knowledge about Sicily, Italian food, food science, and everything in between. They customized a class just for us so that we could make both focaccia and cannoli. The food was delicious and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend taking a class with Alice. It was definitely the highlight of Palermo. We look forward to making the recipes we learned!

"I was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories."
