I am Cesarina Fernanda, a food blogger and a passionate mom who loves traditional Italian cuisine, with a particular fondness for Sicilian dishes. I dedicate many hours each day to cooking, always in search of new flavors and recipes to share.
I invite you to my home for an unforgettable culinary experience. Together, we will prepare busiate with Trapanese pesto, a delightful sauce made with tomatoes, basil, almonds, pecorino cheese, and extra virgin olive oil. In agreement with you, we can vary the menu by making a seasonal pesto or sauce.
We will then move on to egg pasta filled with ricotta and Bronte pistachios, a true delicacy that will captivate you. And to finish beautifully, we will prepare the most classic of Italian desserts: coffee tiramisu!

- We had an amazing time cooking with Fernanda and her family! They welcomed us so warmly, and everything felt truly authentic. We learned to make classic Sicilian dishes, enjoyed great food, and shared a lovely meal together. A wonderful and genuine experience — highly recommended!
- A highlight of our trip! Fernanda and her daughter were the best hosts, we felt so welcomed from the moment we started. Both were very patient and explained thoroughly the processes also sharing their knowledge and answering our questions. We finished with eating our products with the family over conversation. Such a great experience to truly understand Sicily and the local cuisine. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again when in Sicily next!
- Fernanda and her family are lovely friendly open hearted people. We felt very welcome in their home. The food was delicious! By far the best food we’ve eaten in Italy. We learned some authentic techniques for making different pastas and tiramisu. These are recipes passed down from Nona, very authentic. Great communication, checking in with us the day before and on the day. She even offered to pick us up if we didn’t have transport. I highly recommend cooking with Fernanda.
- We had the most special time with Fernanda and her lovely family who were so inviting and generous. The food was amazing, we learnt so much and are so excited to continue cooking the recipes we learnt. Can’t recommend this experience highly enough when visiting Sicily!
- Was lots of fun! I might encourage an earlier start time as the evening flew by and it got late pretty quickly . I also would enjoyed coming home w a recipe (even if I took a picture of one on my phone!)
