Your experience
  • Neapolitan Meatballs
  • Sorrento-style gnocchi
  • Coffee Tiramisu

I look forward to welcoming you for a traditional Neapolitan cooking lesson at my home, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. You will be greeted with Italian Prosecco and some local appetizers, learn how to make homemade fresh pasta and other typical local dishes. For each dish, I will provide an explanation, and it will be interesting and fun to learn about their origins and some anecdotes. We will enjoy, with a good glass of wine, what we have cooked, either in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking my garden, filled with flowers, orange trees, and lemon trees. A coffee and a good homemade limoncello, made with lemons from my garden, will not be missing at the end of the meal.

Maria Rosella
Cesarina from 2018Location: Piano di Sorrento    Languages: Italian, English, Spanish
Maria Rosella, our Cesarina host, lives in Piano di Sorrento, a corner of paradise on the Sorrento coast that offers simple and natural ingredients for her dishes rich in colors and flavors. Maria Rosella welcomes us into her cheerful home, within a residential park with a large terrace and garden, to discover the culinary traditions of the area. And she tells us about her culinary passion, inherited from her grandmother, with whom she spent Sunday mornings in the kitchen, while the scent of ragù sauce filled the house, the wise hands of her grandmother kneaded dough and quickly the dishes around the table filled up with gnocchi, ravioli and tagliatelle.
