From the moment we met Alessandra, she greeted us with open arms and an open heart. Our day with her was the highlight of our entire stay in Italy. She is so considerate, friendly, and passionate; it is impossible not to have fun with her! On the day of our cesarine experience with Alessandra, she picked us up from our hotel, knowing that any taxi or bus would not bring us all the way to her home. We shared an espresso at a cafe before she walked us through the local market and then drove us through the gorgeous countryside to her mountainside home. Cooking with Alessandra and sharing wine and delicious food with her in her beautiful home was nothing short of perfect. She made us feel like family, and we can’t wait to see her again!

First, I need to acknowledge that because she was our first cooking class, my expectations were set very high after this experience. Alessandra was not only polite and professional, she was also personable and made us feel like family. The market tour was something I had wanted to do and it did not disappoint. She coordinated travel so we didn’t have to think about anything other than being immersed in the experience. She was patient and so much fun to learn cooking techniques from. She gladly answered all of our questions, was explicit about ingredients and helped us make the most amazing food I’ve had. The cooking was hands-on and taught me techniques in a practical manner which I have taken back to my kitchen. She provided recipes and offered to answer any questions we might have in the future. I honestly would have booked again if we had time. Alessandra is one of a kind and the experience she created for us was beyond compare. I have already recommend her to family and friends and we plan to go back and book her again! We appreciate not only her attention to detail but her treating us like family! She is absolutely amazing!

Exceptional evening with Alessandra. We were greeted with Prosecco and focaccia. We proceeded to make individual Tiramisu portions. Then on to the real Business. How to make a proper pizza dough. We were 9 participants total. We worked our dough balls, which, of course, needed to be proofed. Alessandra had dough ready to go. I was assigned the sauce: home grown tomatoes, with added salt and home made olive oil. One at a time we were called to the wood-fired oven in the back yard (actually built by her very pleasant husband!). Each pizza was better than the one before. We were served homemade wine and then enjoyed our tiramisu, served with homemade limoncello. The experience was personal, warm and very enjoyable. We all (6 of us) give Alessandra 5 stars.

Alessandra was a fabulous host and chef with a lovely home. The instructions to make pizza and tiramisu were simple and fun. We were a family of 6 and she treated us like family. Almost all of the ingredients were from her property. I’d highly recommend booking with her.

Alessandra was amazing from beginning to end! My husband and I loved her ! She welcomed us into her home , which was beautiful as well. Nestled in the hills of Sorrento, overlooking Mount Vesuvius, Naples and Sorrento, with 360 degree views. Her home boasts her own gardens, which supply her with much of her own produce! She is kind, thoughtful, fun and knowledgeable! 100% a great culinary experience!

Sorrento, land of sirens that tempted Ulysses and home of Torquato Tasso, offers moments of poetry between secret coves, breathtaking views and tasty stops, as at home of our Cesarina Alessandra. "I love traditional cuisine and I am passionate about leavened, especially the Neapolitan pizza made with my sourdough, with which I make fragrant breads, of any kind of flour". At her table flavors of sea and land, recipes of the culinary tradition of Sorrento, fragrant and tasty.
