Sono Silvia, una Cesarina che abita nel centro storico di Lucca.

Vi invito a fare una cooking class insieme a me, nella mia cucina, per imparare a conoscere i sapori autentici della cucina toscana. Prepareremo insieme tre tipi di primi piatti: inizieremo con gustosi gnocchi di patate conditi con ragù di carne, o in alternativa una salsa senza carne per chi è vegetariano, usando ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. La seconda proposta è forse la piu famosa, l'immancabile pasta fatta in casa, usando solo due ingredienti: uova e farina. Infine realizzeremo gli gnudi, ravioli preparati usando solamente spinaci, ricotta e parmigiano.

: My husband and I spent a wonderful evening in Silvia's kitchen and had a personalized cooking class. We wanted to learn to make pasta and I had said 'no' to learning about gnocchi. Silvia asked why and said we always found gnocchi very tough. She taught us to make gnocchi that was so light, delicate, and flavorful we could hardly believe it. The pasta was also wonderful. This cooking class was the highlight of our two-week trip to Italy.

: This cooking experience was top notch. Silvia shared her home and kitchen with us, making tiramisu and two pasta dishes. There were only 5 of us in the class so it was quite intimate and memorable. We made our pasta and dessert and consumed it with a choice of local wines. Thank you Silvia
: We initially booked a cooking class in Pisa, and were informed there was a change in availability, which led us to our cooking experience with Silvia in Lucca. It was a pleasure to meet Silvia in her beautiful home. Silvia gave clear instructions that were easy to follow and the food was simple, in using ingredients that are commonly found in the kitchen, but turned out to be delicious. Her passion for cooking shines through when she speaks. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

"Amo ospitare e avere cura della tavola, cerco sempre di creare una mise en place con qualche ingrediente che richiami il menù o la stagionalità. Preferisco cucinare piatti di terra, tipici della tradizione toscana, non mi cimento troppo nei dolci... ma solamente per non mangiarne troppi!"
