Your experience

We are waiting for you in our summer house to experience an authentic Apulian lunch together! We will prepare Bari-style focaccia with sourdough starter and handmade cavatelli pasta with homemade tomato sauce. From appetizer to dessert, you will discover genuine flavors and family traditions. While I cook, my husband Stefano, house sommelier, will guide you through local wine tasting. We will end with a homemade jam tart. A typical Apulian culinary experience between hospitality, taste and passion for good food.

This was so much more than a cooking class — it was a truly authentic Italian experience! Dominica and her husband welcomed us into their home with such warmth, and every part of the day reflected their love for good food and local traditions. We cooked with incredibly fresh ingredients straight from their garden, and learned so much about Italian cooking and culture. On top of the dishes we prepared together, they served an absolutely delicious, full Italian meal with homemade snacks and fantastic wine. It was the highlight of our 12-day trip to Italy and an experience we’ll always remember!

Today, we had an incredible experience at Domenica’s cooking class, learning to make pasta and tiramisu. The setting in Domenica and her husband Stefano’s family home made the experience feel intimate and personal, as if we were part of their family. They were incredibly welcoming, and the warmth they extended made the day truly special. The ingredients were top-notch, with almost everything coming fresh from their own garden, which added an extra layer of authenticity to the meal. In addition to making delicious orecchiette, cavatelli, and tiramisu, we enjoyed a fantastic lunch featuring cheeses, meats, bruschetta, olives, and focaccia. Everything tasted amazing, and the tiramisu was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to learn these dishes in a cozy, family atmosphere—it was an unforgettable experience!

Naturally Domy: Born and raised in Puglia, I started cooking 15 years ago when my second child decided to leave the nest. I hoped that by learning to cook Puglian delicacies, my children would miss home more and visit us more often. Over the years, I have mastered the art of sourdough, which I care for like a third child, and I enjoy using it to make taralli, focaccia, and pizza. My love for nature has also led me to cultivate my own organic garden. Join me in preparing a traditional Puglian lunch: focaccia alla barese, homemade fresh pasta, taralli, and panzerotti, along with a dessert made from the fruits of our land.
