Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience
  • Bari style focaccia
  • Orecchiette
  • Tiramisu or Cartellate (thin pastry with honey or cooked wine)

I invite you to join a cooking class where you will learn how to make fresh pasta, from orecchiette to tortellini, having fun as you get your hands in the flour. Before your arrival, I will have already prepared focaccia and the sauce for the dish we will make together. At the end, we will sit down together to enjoy our work. The appetizer includes Pugliese focaccia with mortadella, dairy products, fried olives, and taralli. For the main course, orecchiette with bolognese sauce, ragù, meatballs, or broccoli rabe. For dessert, tiramisù or cartellate. We will pair everything with Primitivo wine, white wine, beer, orange soda, limoncello, and water. An authentic Pugliese culinary experience!

"I was born and raised in Puglia so my cuisine is purely Apulian, from focaccia and panzarotti to onion calzone, to orecchiette made strictly by hand with brasciole (meat rolls) to legumes such as black chickpeas and broad beans with chicory up to to desserts like pasticcioni and cartellate. I also love making fresh pasta like tortellini and ravioli ".
