An appetizer prepared with typical local products, speck, Kaminwurzen or Kaminwurz, literally "smoked sausage," typical cheeses, horseradish sauce and Schüttelbrot, a black,crusty bread, very common in South Tyrol. We will prepare Schlutzkrapfen, a traditional first course from the Pustertal valley, also known as "Schlutzer" in the Puster dialect , in Italian, Tyrolean crescents. The traditional speck dumplings and spinach dumplings.
And to end on a sweet note, apple fritters.
