We Neapolitans love to celebrate every holiday-Christmas, Easter or a simple Sunday-by going wild at the stove! Each celebration has its own unique menu, handed down from generation to generation, rich in stories and traditions. We prepare hearty appetizers, first and second courses with seasonal ingredients and, of course, endless desserts, a different one for every occasion! If you are in Sorrento during the holiday season and want to experience the warmth of conviviality, hospitality and good Campanian cuisine, come and visit us. We will make you taste authentic flavors and toast to tradition with us!

- Io e mia moglie abbiamo prenotato una lezione di cucina, pensando che sarebbe stata un’esperienza divertente—ma ciò che abbiamo vissuto è stato molto più di questo: alcune ore davvero deliziose, toccanti e umili che non dimenticheremo mai. Siamo stati accolti da Ettore, che ci ha invitati nella casa dei suoi nonni—una casa piena di vita e fascino, con pareti adornate di foto di famiglia, dal passato al presente, decorazioni tradizionali italiane e quell’atmosfera accogliente che ci si aspetta da una tipica casa italiana. Poco dopo, abbiamo conosciuto Laura, che ci ha accolti con un sorriso enorme. Sembrava subito una mamma italiana—piena di calore, gentilezza e generosità. Ettore e Laura ci hanno fatto sentire parte della loro famiglia fin dal primo momento. Siamo stati accompagnati nel salotto principale, dove ci è stato offerto un delizioso assortimento di stuzzichini italiani e bevande per metterci a nostro agio. Poi siamo passati in cucina, per due ore di vera esperienza culinaria. Abbiamo imparato a preparare gli gnocchi alla sorrentina e una pasta tradizionale con le patate—entrambi piatti ricchi di sapore e tradizione, un vero piacere da cucinare e gustare. Abbiamo anche preparato il tiramisù, che era così buono che ho finito per mangiare metà di quello di mia moglie! Abbiamo riso, parlato di cibo italiano, di vita familiare, e per quelle due ore con queste persone meravigliose, ci siamo sentiti immersi in un mondo completamente nuovo. È stata molto più di una semplice lezione—è stata un’esperienza piena di cuore, e un ricordo che porteremo sempre con noi.

- We had a fabulous evening with Laura and I highly recommend the experience to anyone visiting Sorrento. The food was sensational, Laura taught us to make pasta unlike any I have had before. The ravioli were so light and the scialatiello were chewy and cheesy and just so fantastic. We had great fun kneading and rolling the pasta and also shaping the gnocchi. Laura is incredibly warm and welcoming with a lovely sense of humour. She also had Federica helping her to translate between Italian and English and I thoroughly enjoyed their company. This was by far my favourite experience in Italy and I hope to meet Laura again one day.
- We were graciously welcomed by Laura and Elena and enjoyed delicious appetizers with wine. We then headed to the kitchen to make “Tiramazing “ with Laura’s secret ingredients! We were able to find them in the grocery store and have since enjoyed the delicious tiramisu at home ! We then made wonderful gnocchi which we enjoyed. Laura then shared a classic homemade dish of potato pasta which was the first time we tried this amazing , delicious dish. We also enjoyed speaking with Elena about her studies. It was a beautiful evening with Sorrento locals. ! We really appreciated the hospitality. We would definitely do this again when back in Sorrento !

All the food was incredible and we’re looking forward to recreating the recipes at home! We’d recommend a class with Laura and Maria to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience!
