Simona and I, a mother-and-child duo of Palermo origins, will take you on a journey into the world of fresh pasta. We will guide you in making busiate, a traditional Sicilian pasta that you can pair with the classic Norma sauce or delicious seasonal vegetables. Next, we’ll move on to soft and irresistible potato gnocchi, served with a tasty tomato sauce or a creamy gorgonzola fondue. And to end on a sweet note, we’ll prepare the ricotta roll together: a soft sponge cake filled with velvety ricotta cream and enriched with delicious dark chocolate chips. A culinary experience full of flavor and tradition you won’t want to miss!

Nous avons apprécié notre rencontre avec Simona, nous avons partagé un bon moment en échangeant sur divers sujets tout en profitant de la préparation de pâtes et de pesto.

We have had a so great time with Simona! She loves to share her cooking tips and love for the Italian tradition food, it was like “our home” ☺️ We made gnocchi pasta and one other one, the sauce base on tomatoes and garlic and eat with her. Thank you 🙏 and perhaps see you in Bordeaux.

This class was amazing!!! Easy directions to the home from train. Beautiful inside. Wine, coffee and gave us the recipe to take home. The pasta flavor was wonderful! Our host was so sweet, down to earth, informative and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend. It is a must do in Milan! One of the best things we did on our trip

Cesarina from 2024Location: Milan    Languages: Italian, English, French
Since 2018, I have been a Cesarina in Palermo, and because my children live in Milan, I decided to open my home there as well, along with my daughter Simona. Simona and I share a passion for cooking, and together we will prepare traditional dishes from our home region of Sicily, such as *busiate* and *cavatelli*, as well as Lombard dishes like pumpkin tortelli and tagliatelle with seasonal ingredients. We will also make Sicilian desserts based on ricotta, such as cannoli and cassata, and a unique version of tiramisù, passed down to us by a chef friend from Treviso, the birthplace of this recipe.
