Rosa Maria & Simona
Since 2018, I have been a Cesarina in Palermo, and because my children live in Milan, I decided to open my home there as well, along with my daughter Simona. Simona and I share a passion for cooking, and together we will prepare traditional dishes from our home region of Sicily, such as *busiate* and *cavatelli*, as well as Lombard dishes like pumpkin tortelli and tagliatelle with seasonal ingredients. We will also make Sicilian desserts based on ricotta, such as cannoli and cassata, and a unique version of tiramisù, passed down to us by a chef friend from Treviso, the birthplace of this recipe.

- We had the most wonderful time with Rosa Maria & Simona for our cooking class. It was well planned, hands on and great fun overall. We feel like we had an Italian mama for the day. The pastas we made were the best pastas we ate during our entire time in Italy. What a memorable day! Perfect.
- We had a wonderful time with Rosa Maria making the Timballo and watermelon jelly. After we prepared it together, we took a walk to the film sites of the series Il Gattopardo. To be able to create this iconic dish at her home made our stay in Palermo even more memorable. Many thanks for your hospitality, we highly recommend this experience!
