Non si può visitare l'Italia senza provare almeno un piatto di pasta... quindi vi insegnerò a prepararne due! Cominceremo con un autentico Aperitivo italiano a base di prosecco e stuzzichini, impareremo come fare la 'sfoglia' (pasta fresca) a mano e come preparare da zero due forme di pasta. Come ciliegina sulla torta, scopriremo i segreti del famoso dolce italiano: il Tiramisù. Dopo questo corso di cucina pratico, godetevi quello che avete preparato per pranzo o cena con vini locali e condividete la vostra passione per la cucina italiana facendo nuove amicizie. Non c'è modo migliore di vivere veramente la cultura italiana se non partecipando a un workshop di cucina a casa di una chef locale!

It can be nerve wracking going into someone else’s home to learn a new skill, but with Cecilia we immediately felt comfortable and were excited to get started! She was an excellent teacher, gave all of us opportunities to practice the techniques, and everything we made was incredibly delicious. Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know Cecilia and spend time sharing stories. She was warm, generous, passionate and funny! And to top it all off, she has the most beautiful home with stunning views of the city!

My husband and I came to Italy for our honeymoon and really wanted to try a cooking class while we were here. We cannot recommend this experience with Cecilia enough! Immediately upon arriving Cecilia was welcoming and warm. We made tiramisu and homemade ravioli, which were both incredible. Neither of us had ever made pasta before, so she as careful to explain the technique, demonstrate, and then guide us in doing it on our own. She even showed us how to make some other pasta shapes! She also offered us some pecorino cheese with her homemade fig jam, which was absolutely incredible. We enjoyed dinner in her dining room with a bottle of Chianti wine and chatted over dinner, while she gave us some tips on great local spots and other helpful information for the rest of our trip. If you will be in Florence, this cooking class with Cecilia is a must do!!! Although our honeymoon is not done yet, I can confidently say that this will be one of the highlights of our trip.

Cecilia is wonderful! She is so warm, kind, and welcoming. Her style of instruction is fun and gentle with beginners. Her recipes are so tasty, and she was kind enough to email them to us so we didn't have to worry about taking any notes. After dinner, she spent extra time with us to demonstrate additional past techniques, and she shared hints about local things to see and do in Florence. The view of the city from her home is also an added benefit. Thank you, Cecilia!

In cima ad una strada appena fuori dal centro storico, davanti al parco del Museo Stibbert, la nostra Cesarina apre le porte della sua casa, dalla quale si gode una splendida vista della città. "Cucinare mi diverte e mi mette sempre di buon umore. Sono sempre alla ricerca della ricetta perfetta, e quando la trovo la custodisco come se fosse un tesoro". Quella di Cecilia è una cucina semplice, ma decisamente gustosa: "Mi piace invitare gli amici a casa, senza troppe formalità, dando però loro il meglio che posso".
