    I welcome you to my home in the heart of old Genoa, a short distance from the Palazzi dei Rolli and the largest historic center in Europe. During our experience, you will become an expert in the preparation of the world's most famous sauce: Pesto di basilico DOP alla genovese. We will use the ancient mortars and, guided by me, you will become part of the Genoa associated with traditional cuisine. The poetry of freshly prepared pesto will be tasted on Genoese focaccia. Afterwards, our culinary adventure will continue with our hands in the dough, preparing the pasta matta to create the legendary focaccia al formaggio di Recco, a world-famous Ligurian specialty. In the process, I will reveal the secrets to enjoying a cheesy focaccia at home.

    We had the wonderful pleasure of going to a cooking class at the home of Tiziana and Roberto. It was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it to anyone. It started at the local Genoa market ( an experience all on its own) and then off to the cooking class. But it was the company that was amazing. We felt at home and like part of the family. An experience we’ll never forget. Thank you for making our trip to Italy that much more special!
