    I welcome you to my home in the heart of old Genoa, a short distance from the Palazzi dei Rolli and the largest historic center in Europe. During our experience, you will become an expert in the preparation of the world's most famous sauce: Pesto di basilico DOP alla genovese. We will use the ancient mortars and, guided by me, you will become part of the Genoa associated with traditional cuisine. The poetry of freshly prepared pesto will be tasted on Genoese focaccia. Afterwards, our culinary adventure will continue with our hands in the dough, preparing the pasta matta to create the legendary focaccia al formaggio di Recco, a world-famous Ligurian specialty. In the process, I will reveal the secrets to enjoying a cheesy focaccia at home.

    That was an absolutely amazing experience that we will never forget. My wife and I wanted to take a local cooking class while in Genoa and this was the best one to take. They were so kind and inviting for the whole experience. We learned so much about the local food and history along with how to make pasta and tiramisu. If you want a well structured class in a cold stainless steel kitchen then this is not for you. This is a beautiful family who will invite you into their own home and teach you to cook in their own kitchen and eat with them at their own dining table. I honestly recommend everyone to this amazing experience.

    Tiziana and Roberto were awesome!! We had a great experience. Roberto was really kind and took lots of pictures for us and had google translate up and ready for any questions we had, we got to know him very well and he took us on a mini tour of the city after our meal. Tiziana was very nice as well and was a good teacher of how to make the bread and pesto. Her recipe was great and the food turned out amazing!! We went and bought some olive oil and a mortar right after we were done. 10/10 would recommend!
