Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
You will be welcomed at our 1600s Villa with a “moka” coffee, you will have a walk through the garden, our vineyard, and we’ll pick some fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs from our vegetable garden.
Our cooking class will begin with mixed bruschetta, prepared with our family-owned extra virgin olive oil for three generations. The first course is always a homemade pasta experience, the sauce of which evolves in harmony with the fresh seasonal vegetables at our disposal. As a second course is chicken cacciatore, or eggplant parmigiana, both typical and authentic Italian dishes. Dessert will be fresh fruit and limoncello. During the experience, there will be a magical atmosphere, thanks to a performance of live opera arias by professional artists.
Reviews
- my family and i had a wonderful time at our cooking class! we enjoyed the venue, the preparation and all of the Cesarine staff that helped
- Instructor was very informative and sweet. We loved the food and learned so much.
- My family of four were hosted by Lucrezia and Christina for a private pasta-making class and the experience was magical. The setting, an old farmhouse nestled into the Tuscan vineyards that provided our wine for the evening, was breathtaking. Lucrezia was warm and welcoming, and both she and Christina were excellent instructors. We gathered our ingredients from the property’s garden and then made two types of bruschetta, a zucchini salad, two types of pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. Lucrezia and Christina kept all of us engaged, laughing and learning the whole way through. Highly recommend this experience!
