Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
Shared Experience
Your experience
You’ll be welcomed at our 1600 Villa with coffee, we’ll walk through the property, the vineyard, and we’ll pick fresh vegetables (seasonal: not guaranteed from November to April) and aromatic herbs from our garden.
Our cooking class will begin with mixed bruschetta, prepared with our Evo Oil, produced by the family since three generations. The first course is always a homemade pasta experience, the sauce evolving in harmony with the fresh seasonal vegetables. As a second course, chicken cacciatore or eggplant parmigiana, both typical and authentic Italian dishes. Dessert will be fresh fruit and limoncello.
There will be a magical atmosphere during the experience, thanks to a Live Opera performance of the most beautiful Italian arias and songs, by a professional artists.

- my family and i had a wonderful time at our cooking class! we enjoyed the venue, the preparation and all of the Cesarine staff that helped
- Instructor was very informative and sweet. We loved the food and learned so much.
- My family of four were hosted by Lucrezia and Christina for a private pasta-making class and the experience was magical. The setting, an old farmhouse nestled into the Tuscan vineyards that provided our wine for the evening, was breathtaking. Lucrezia was warm and welcoming, and both she and Christina were excellent instructors. We gathered our ingredients from the property’s garden and then made two types of bruschetta, a zucchini salad, two types of pasta, and tiramisu for dessert. Lucrezia and Christina kept all of us engaged, laughing and learning the whole way through. Highly recommend this experience!

Cesarina from 2023Location: Florence Languages: Italian and EnglishCooking is my greatest passion. I learned from a young age within my family, and I love sharing recipes and the old culinary traditions of my homeland, Puglia, along with those of Tuscany. I like to tell the story of certain dishes we cook, how they were created, and the history behind them. Seeing people enjoying themselves in my kitchen fills me with joy, and my goal is to leave them with something they can take with them. I offer my guests round-trip transfer from Florence to Barberino Tavarnelle.
