    This cooking class is dedicated to the signature dish of Milan’s authentic culinary tradition: ossobuco with saffron risotto.

    We’ll focus entirely on preparing this classic, learning the secrets behind the ingredients and every step of the recipe.

    To end on a sweet note, we’ll also make a homemade dessert together, completing the menu in true Milanese style.

    At the end of the class, we’ll sit down to enjoy our creations, accompanied by a good glass of wine and pleasant company.

    A fantastic culinary journey one could ever have for those who wants to experience local culture, simple yet fresh ingredients and splendid home food from a local Italian home. Enrico and his wife have been amazing hosts, giving an intriguing hands-on experience for my two boys (7 and 8 years old) on making pasta from scratch. Their warm hospitality and Enrico’s passion to culinary have made this experience an extra memorable one.

He not only prepared a fabulous dinner for us but also taught us so much about Italy. I have cooked for many years and am a recipe developer myself.     Today we spent time with a lovely couple Enrico and Cristina in their home learning to make Enrico’s grandmother recipe of Ossobuco (beef), saffron risotto and tiramisu. The food was so good plus we also learned variations we could do when making these foods when we return home. It was a fun experience learning something new, learning about their lives and Milanese foods. This was my first cooking class while traveling and will certainly do it again with Cesarine because Enrico spoke highly of the company.

My passion is for first courses and would love to cook with you fresh pasta , pizza, a delightful risotto and a super tiramisu’.  I can offer the experiences with vegan and vegetarian alternatives, just let me know.
