Simona and I, a mother-and-child duo of Palermo origins, will take you on a journey into the world of fresh pasta. We will guide you in making busiate, a traditional Sicilian pasta that you can pair with the classic Norma sauce or delicious seasonal vegetables. Next, we’ll move on to soft and irresistible potato gnocchi, served with a tasty tomato sauce or a creamy gorgonzola fondue. And to end on a sweet note, we’ll prepare the ricotta roll together: a soft sponge cake filled with velvety ricotta cream and enriched with delicious dark chocolate chips. A culinary experience full of flavor and tradition you won’t want to miss!

This was such a great experience! The hosts were warm and inviting, the class was easy to follow and the food was incredibly delicious. It was tailored to my groups individual preferences and we had such a wonderful time. I would take a class with them again for sure and would highly recommend them to anyone looking! Super close to the Duomo as well.

We had an unforgettable evening at Simona’s place with our family and a few other guests. The atmosphere was great and the cooking was a real pleasure. Simona is a very friendly host, passionately sharing her Sicilian way of making pasta and we made the best tiramisu ever!

Rosa Maria & Sally were so fun! She made the recipes seem easy enough to do on our own once we get back home. Great conversation, very good teacher, and she helped us learn some more Italian! If you want an intimate, low-stress, authentic experience, this is for you!

After a magical experience in Modena, this time I booked here with my friends. Among the various options, we chose cavatelli with basil pesto and we didn't regret it! The experience was fun and interesting, thanks also to Simona, the Cesarina who hosted us together with her family and guided us step by step with always clear instructions, creating a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Dinner was accompanied by good wine. Despite the price, it is absolutely worth it!

Cesarina from 2024Location: Milan (MI)    Languages: Italian, English, French
Since 2018, I have been a Cesarina in Palermo, and because my children live in Milan, I decided to open my home there as well, along with my daughter Simona. Simona and I share a passion for cooking, and together we will prepare traditional dishes from our home region of Sicily, such as *busiate* and *cavatelli*, as well as Lombard dishes like pumpkin tortelli and tagliatelle with seasonal ingredients. We will also make Sicilian desserts based on ricotta, such as cannoli and cassata, and a unique version of tiramisù, passed down to us by a chef friend from Treviso, the birthplace of this recipe.
