You are cordially invited to participate in a fascinating cooking class to be held on the terrace of my home in the historic center of Cisternino, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding beauty. I will be your guide in the preparation of three typical local dishes, sharing the stories behind each recipe and revealing its authentic ingredients. Together, we will shape delicious fried meatballs, knead laganari to go with a fresh tomato sauce, and make the traditional Tiramisu. This will be a unique opportunity to learn and savor the richness of our culinary tradition.

Cesarina from 2023Location: Cisternino Languages: Italian and EnglishMy cuisine is purely traditional and based on Apulian culture, ranging from humble dishes like bread and cheese meatballs to the typical roasted meats of Cisternino (bombette, knife-point sausages, gnumerelli, etc.). However, what adds the most charm to my cooking is the handmade fresh pasta made by my mother and grandmother, particularly burnt wheat orecchiette served with local fresh tomato sauce and cacioricotta cheese.
