    La "cazzateddhra" è un tipo di pane che ha radici lontane nel tempo, quando i forni domestici non esistevano ancora e l'unico forno disponibile era quello del villaggio, dove le care nonne si recavano per cuocere il proprio impasto. È qui che nasce la "cazzateddhra": mentre una donna aspettava il proprio turno per infornare, un pezzetto di impasto cadde accidentalmente nel forno, dando vita a questo meraviglioso pane.

    Insieme prepareremo l'impasto, cuoceremo il pane e lo gusteremo insieme, accompagnato da un calice di vino tipico del luogo. Tutto questo avverrà nella mia dolce e amata cucina.

    I had an amazing time at Katia's home. She warmly welcomed me and one other student and we learned two types of traditional pasta and tiramisu. (I had never made either before.) In addition, she served us an incredible dinner with wine, wonderful cheeses, homemade bread, meatballs and vegetable dishes sourced from her garden. I felt right at home with her family. If you are staying near Lecce you must do this.

    Katia and her family were amazing. They offered us a good coffee and then, we have begun the preparation of the pastas. It was really fun (and not easy) but Katia helped us a lot with her very good explanations :) Then, Prossecco time and we ate together with her husband and her son. It was the birthday of my husband on that date and Katia managed to put a candle on her tiramisu and we sang Auguri a te. A very nice and kind experience 🥰

    WOW WOW WOW🇮🇹👩🏻‍🍳♥️ Roddy & I had unforgettable time spent with Katia and her family near Lecce, Puglia Learned loads about pasta making, tasted delicious food and wine & most especially, we were made to feel so welcome in Katia’s home ❤️ We got round the language barrier by chatting mostly in French! 😄 this was fun and we also learned so much about Puglia - the importance of family is a wonderful shared value we all have 🫶 This was our first cooking experience in Italy and it was amazing! Hours of utter joy 😍😀 Highly recommend! 🫶 Thankyou Katia and family (PS booked with Cesarine)

    Katia and her family are wonderful. We had the most amazing day. The pasta making was fun and the lunch fabulous. We were made to feel so welcome and felt like part of the family. There was a mix up with the location and Katia and her husband actually came and picked us up. I would recommend everyone visiting Lecce do this tour !
